Local NASA scientist hosting lectures on space exploration, Apollo Space Program

One local man spent most of his life working with NASA and preparing America to explore the final frontier of outer space.

He currently spends his time talking to others to give them an understanding of what he did for the Apollo Space Program, and his role in a "historic event."

Francis Donald Freeburn spoke with 6 News about how he became interested in aerospace engineering and where that interest took him.
